Overview

Yasui Hall is a 5-story, 144-unit residence hall at the University of Oregon. It has a variety of living spaces to fit students’ needs, including single units, double units, quad units, and apartments. It is the second phase of three new buildings that are part of the Hamilton Walton Transformation project. WPI was also involved in phase 1 with the construction of Unthank Hall right across the street.

While working on an active campus can pose an array of challenges, WPI’s extensive experience on college campuses enabled our team to navigate them accordingly. We worked closely with the GC, design team, and suppliers to find the best solutions that were the least impactful to the overall schedule and budget. Our team’s work was recognized by the Northwest Wall & Ceiling Bureau, awarding Yasui Hall Project of the Year for its interior excellence.
