Our Work

Scopes: Exterior framing, Exterior Sheathing/SureBoard, Weather Barrier, Firestopping, Cross Laminated Timber, Light-gauge Framing, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Insulation, Expansion Joints, GFRGs, Rough Carpentry, Drywall, Finishing, Acoustical Ceilings, Bullet Board, Paint

Asante is unique in the way it ties into the existing hospital at the curved football-shaped patient tower across six levels (a new transition area at each floor from the straight addition to the curved existing building) as well as having a skybridge that connects the new tower to the existing tower. Each connection point at the floor and ceiling from the new building to the existing structure required seismic expansion joints. Additionally, our framing, insulation, and finishes needed to seamlessly tie into all these points. It presented a challenge that our team was eager to take on and eventually overcome.
