PGE Park/Jeld-Wen Field Renovation

After five and a half months of construction, WPI completed their scope of work on the PGE Park/Jeld-Wen Field Renovation Project. Originally opened in 1926 as the Multnomah Stadium, this facility was more recently known as PGE Park. As part of a $31 million renovation spanning from 2010 to 2011, the facility was renamed Jeld-Weld Field in a partnership with the Klamath Falls, Oregon based company Jeld-Wen. The recently renovated stadium is home to the Portland Timbers MLS soccer team and the Portland State University Vikings football team.

The PGE Park/Jeld-Wen Field Renovation includes the addition of new seating along the east side of the stadium, the majority of which are covered by a new roof. In addition, a new 5,200sf KeyBank Club restaurant, a public plaza area, an Adidas Team Store, concession stands and restrooms were added. The project also adds a new 2,200sf community meeting room and new group and family deck areas.

WPI’s scope of work on this project included fireproofing, interior and exterior framing, interior and exterior sheathing, insulation and caulking, finish taping, and plaster finish. Western Partitions also handled the installation of the acoustical ceiling grid, Fiberglass Reinforced Panels (FRP), along with the wood siding.
