Our Work

Scopes: Drywall, Light-Gauge Metal Framing, Tape & Texture, Fire Stopping, Insulation, Exterior Plaster, and Acoustical Ceilings.

WPI worked with Precision Construction Co. to bring the vision of Union Gospel Mission to life. The 4-story building includes 56 units for both long-term and short-term housing, community areas, a full-service kitchen, child activity center, counseling rooms, and a chapel. Along with our precision drywall installation and taping finishes throughout the building, our team installed wood-look ceiling tiles on the first floor to give the main lobby and chapel a warm and welcoming feeling. To cap it off, our exterior plaster finishes helped bring the building to life from the outside, making it inviting to the community. Our team took great pride in this project with our attention to detail and efficient work at both the exterior and interior of the building. Our close collaboration with Precision Construction and Union Gospel Mission, allowed us to turn over a beautiful building that will serve the community for years to come.

Result

Angela’s House had challenges like any other project, but in the end, it was extremely rewarding for WPI as a company, and for our team involved. Thanks to this building, women and children in the community will have the housing and support that they need for a bright future and WPI is grateful to have been a part of such a fulfilling project that will change lives for many, many years.
