Willamette Tower, formerly known as Block 41 is now open. Take a look at the brand new 24-story mixed-use tower on the westside waterfront in Portland, Oregon. We teamed up with Andersen Construction to deliver this project and our scopes included framing, insulation, firestopping, weather barrier, drywall, paint, stucco, and claddings.

The construction industry has historically been male dominated, but that’s been changing in recent years. Women currently make up about 11% of total construction workers and that number has been steadily on the rise since 2010. We spoke to three women in the field about their experiences in construction and asked what advice they would give to other women considering a career in the construction industry.
