In October 2006, WPI began working with Turner Construction to build the luxurious Mirabella Retirement Community in downtown Seattle, Washington. For this project, WPI installed more than one million square feet of structural and light-gauge framing. We also installed over four million square feet of drywall and plaster. Throughout the two years of construction, WPI worked under a very fast project schedule. For most of this time, we employed an average of 150 crew members, which kept us on or ahead of schedule at all times. WPI encountered many challenges with the schedule, trade coordination, and construction complexity. Hard work and creative thinking were needed to overcome these challenges and to stay on track. The result was a quality final product finished on time.
The customer, Pacific Retirement Services, Inc., not only loved the finished product, they also elected WPI to help construct another high end retirement living community in downtown Portland, Oregon.
