Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler with hands-on experience using Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules across multiple phases of construction. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timelines are met and resources are efficiently allocated. This job will be primarily remote with some travel to regional offices as needed. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Integrate schedules from various subcontractors and vendors into the master schedule.
  • Monitor progress, identify schedule variances, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Work with project teams to update and revise schedules based on field progress and design changes.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and provide reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform critical path and risk analysis.
  • Ensure scheduling complies with contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Support delay analysis and claims as needed. Measle maps and constraint impact tracking.   
  • Create man-loaded schedules.  

 

Qualifications:

  • AA or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project sequencing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex schedule data clearly to various audiences.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Excel, and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost/schedule integration is a plus.

 

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certification in Planning & Scheduling (e.g., PSP from AACE).
  • Experience in [commercial/residential/infrastructure/industrial] construction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

To assist and support the Project Manager and Jobsite Foreman in the administrative function at the assigned location(s). WPI’s regional office is located in Sparks, Nevada, but this position will begin at a jobsite in McCarran, Nevada.

 

Summary

This position will be part of the site operations team. The Site Administrator will assist in the completion of various functions including, but not limited to, payroll distribution, new hire safety orientations, document control and data entry. The selected candidate will also serve as the Onsite Coordinator to assist WPI employees and serve as a liaison between the site and the WPI Sparks office on employee and jobsite issues.

WPI is a cold formed steel contractor with its own in-house engineering and design department. You will be collaborating directly with the field and operations personnel who are building the designs you create. This department emphasizes a well-rounded work/like balance. 

 

Job Description

The Senior Structural Engineer is a high-level position for an individual with previous work experience in cold formed steel framing who holds a professional engineer license in a state that WPI operates in. The primary responsibility will be preparing construction drawings for a wide variety of projects involving cold formed steel. Major WPI projects include exterior curtain walls, interior partitions and ceiling, prefabricated wall panels, structural ceilings, and data center containment. Our major industries are healthcare, higher education, mission critical data centers, and other commercial construction.

This is a unique role in that you will be working directly with the project foremen, superintendents, and project managers who are also your co-workers. This position bridges the gap between engineering and construction. If you are interested in working more on the construction side of the industry, this position may be right for you.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Expert knowledge of cold formed steel design. Including but not limited to curtain walls, load bearing walls, floor and ceiling framing, connections, and AISI standards.
  • Strong familiarity with cold formed steel construction methods.
  • Strong familiarity of structural steel member and connection design including AISC standards. Familiarity with anchor bolt design according to ACI 318.
  • Working knowledge of IBC and ASCE codes. Able to calculate wind and seismic loads on structures and components.
  • Solid understanding of design software used in office. (Currently Revit, CFS Designer, Risa Suite, and others)
  • Ability to read and understand Architectural, Structural, and other trade drawings and specifications.
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have experience with cold formed steel prefabrication or data center construction.

You day to day tasks may involve the following:

  • Work on typical WPI projects: exterior and interior framing, ceilings, load bearing strut. Expected to work independently.
  • Oversee team of engineers and drafters. Provide mentorship and coaching of younger engineers.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external team members, including those in the field. Attend project meetings with internal team and the project design team.
  • Prepare drawings for shop drawing submittals. Work with WPI BIM and drafting team.
  • Prepare calculation packages for submitting to project design team and local jurisdictions
  • Participate in bid reviews and estimating new projects
  • Act as liaison with relevant project professional staff, such as Architect of Record or Engineer of Record.
  • Monitor and inspect work in progress to verify systems are built per engineered drawings.
  • Support field operations. Such as translating structural drawings and specifications for the field team. Preparing drawings for site team use to make layouts easier. Creating engineered sketches to show to special inspectors. And many more. Site visits are rare but may be requested.
  • Progress your knowledge of cold formed steel or other engineering topics.
  • Help maintain the department by reviewing work done by others, reviewing estimates, maintaining the detail library, keeping up to date with code changes, and many more.

 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cold formed steel engineering. All experience levels are welcome to apply.
  • Prior work experience with cold formed steel framing.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
  • Ability to use independent judgement, problem-solving ability, self-starting, and ability to prioritize based on relevant factors.
  • Ability to prioritize personal workload and recognize priority conflicts and seek guidance for resolution.
  • Passed PE test and licensed in a state that WPI operates in, or able to be granted licensure through comity.

Preferred Requirements

  • Licensed PE or SE and the ability to apply for licensure in multiple state through comity.

Job Description

This position is an integral part of our Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values. The Regional Safety Coordinator’s objective is to provide a safe and healthful workplace.   • Ensure WPI fully complies with EHS Program, Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Publish written reports in a format that is directed by the Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Director.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge. Guide and promote safe work performance on the job sites by visiting the sites and answering questions, providing support in proper tool and PPE selection, and ensuring trade workers understand how to perform the task in a safe manner.
  • Be proactive in meeting with GC Safety Managers to ensure goals are met for improvement of both companies’ safety cultures.

Qualifications

  • Must possess one of the following: a degree in occupational health and safety, or a BCSP certification of CHST, SMS, ASP, or CSP, and a minimum of 3 years working as a construction safety professional.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of EHS programs, practices, and regulations within the region.
  • Must develop a general understanding of the business, including our market and clients.
  • Must be able to identify resources and gather and organize data from multiple sources, including conducting independent research on regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize personal workload and recognize priority conflicts and seek guidance for resolution.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.

Job Description

The Regional HR Administrator supports regional-level HR administrative functions and ensures consistent application of company policies, procedures, and local compliance. This role is an on-site resource for managers and employees, providing administrative support in onboarding, offboarding, recordkeeping, leave tracking, employee relations documentation, and HR systems entry and maintenance. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and Corporate HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of new employees including job description development, placing advertisements, developing contacts with recruiting sources, screening, interviewing, and supporting internal hiring managers. Help develop offer letters, job descriptions, and new hire communications.
  • Facilitate onboarding logistics for new employees (e.g., scheduling orientation, I-9 completion, document collection).
  • Track employee training and incentive programs.
  • Coordinate offboarding steps (equipment return, final checklists, and exit logistics).
  • Maintain personnel files and accurate HRIS data entry, including staff compensation history.
  • Track and maintain documentation related to employee leaves in coordination with Corporate HR.
  • Administer site-level wellness events, recognition programs, and local HR communications.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to regional leaders and employees regarding HR policy questions, timekeeping practices, and procedural guidance.
  • Support documentation and intake of employee relations matters, escalating as needed to Corporate HR.
  • Assist with scheduling and communication for regional trainings and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure required labor law postings and HR-related communications are up to date and visible.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of employee records and sensitive issues.
  • Serve as the local point of contact for HRIS system navigation support and data accuracy.
  • Perform administrative follow-up from investigations, audits, or compliance checks as directed by Corporate HR.
  • Coordinate region-specific engagement initiatives such as events or surveys in alignment with broader HR programs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and HCM systems such as Dayforce.

Job Description

The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager with the setup, management, and closeout of projects at the regional office or jobsite to accomplish project objectives by planning, scheduling, and executing project activities throughout each phase to completion.

  • Understand and comply with all WPI policies, procedures, and corporate safety program.
  • Actively participate in the safety plans and measures of the assigned projects.
  • Review contract language, scope of work, and special provisions in the contract. Make sure project team members are aware of these items.
  • Assist with the buyout and procurement of material, subcontractor, and engineering quotes.
  • Prepare RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Support and visit assigned job sites and participate in job meetings as required.
  • Price change requests and update the budget promptly.
  • Prepare, review, and report weekly productions.
  • Review the weekly job cost report with the project Foreman and team.
  • Prepare billings and approve invoices for payment.
  • Track progress and spending, ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Support the implementation of job schedules.
  • Coordinate warranties, O&M’s, and closeout on projects.

Job Description

The Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager with the setup, management, and closeout of projects at the regional office or jobsite to accomplish project objectives by planning, scheduling, and executing project activities throughout each phase to completion. WPI’s regional office is located in Sparks, Nevada, but this position will begin at a jobsite in McCarran, Nevada. 

  • Understand and comply with all WPI policies, procedures, and corporate safety program.
  • Actively participate in the safety plans and measures of the assigned projects.
  • Review contract language, scope of work, and special provisions in the contract. Make sure project team members are aware of these items.
  • Assist with the buyout and procurement of material, subcontractor, and engineering quotes.
  • Prepare RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Support and visit assigned job sites and participate in job meetings as required.
  • Price change requests and update the budget promptly.
  • Prepare, review, and report weekly productions.
  • Review the weekly job cost report with the project Foreman and team.
  • Prepare billings and approve invoices for payment.
  • Track progress and spending, ensuring the work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Support the implementation of job schedules.
  • Coordinate warranties, O&M’s, and closeout on projects.

Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or related field.

Job Summary

The Powder Coat Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the powder coating operation from blasting to curing, including personnel management, workflow scheduling, equipment upkeep, quality assurance, and safety compliance. This role ensures consistent production of high-quality coated parts while maintaining throughput targets and minimizing downtime. This position is located at 5742 Harold Gatty Dr, Salt Lake City, Utah and the hours will be from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Scheduling
    • Supervise and direct daily activities of the powder coat team.
    • Develop work schedules and assign tasks to meet production goals.
    • Support training, and performance evaluations for powder coating team members.
    • Maintain and approve employee time records, utilizing the electronic timekeeping system to ensure accurate time records and timely payment for all hours worked.
  • Production Oversight
    • Ensure all parts are coated to meet WPI and customer standards.
    • Maintain throughput goals while minimizing rework and material waste.
    • Submit order requests as needed to ensure seamless restocking of raw materials.
  • Quality Control
    • Perform in-process and final inspection of coated parts.
    • Monitor coating thickness, adhesion, and finish consistency using proper testing tools.
  • Equipment & Maintenance
    • Monitor performance of powder coating booth(s), ovens, guns, and spray systems.
    • Ensure daily and weekly maintenance is performed and documented.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Enforce OSHA and environmental regulations as well as internal safety policies.
    • Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of powder materials and chemicals.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks with team.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Track production metrics, downtime, rework, and material usage using manual logs or Excel.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Provide regular updates to the Coatings Department Manager

 Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a powder coating or industrial finishing environment.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or lead role experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of powder coating equipment, materials, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiar with coating quality standards and testing (e.g., mil thickness, adhesion, MEK test).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, digital logs).
  • Willing and able to pass respirator certifications.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

As IT Helpdesk Lead, you oversee daily operations of the Helpdesk Team and ensure timely, high-quality support for end users. You serve as the first escalation point for complex issues, coordinate team workflows, and support the Helpdesk Manager in driving service excellence and continuous improvement. WPI is a cold formed steel contractor with its own in-house engineering and design department. You will be collaborating directly with the field and operations personnel who are building the designs you create. This department emphasizes a well-rounded work/like balance. 

 

Job Description

The primary responsibility will be preparing construction drawings for a wide variety of projects involving cold formed steel. Major WPI projects include exterior curtain walls, interior partitions and ceiling, prefabricated wall panels, structural ceilings, and data center containment. Our major industries are healthcare, higher education, mission critical data centers, and other commercial construction.

This is a unique role in that you will be working directly with the project foremen, superintendents, and project managers who are also your co-workers. This position bridges the gap between engineering and construction. If you are interested in working more on the construction side of the industry, this position may be right for you.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong familiarity with cold formed steel design. Including but not limited to curtain walls, load bearing walls, floor and ceiling framing, connections, and AISI standards.
  • Strong familiarity with cold formed steel construction methods.
  • Working knowledge of structural steel member and connection design including AISC standards. Familiarity with anchor bolt design according to ACI 318.
  • Familiarity with IBC and ASCE codes. Able to calculate wind and seismic loads on structures and components.
  • Solid understanding of design software used in office. (Currently Revit, CFS Designer, Risa Suite, and others)
  • Ability to read and understand Architectural, Structural, and other trade drawings and specifications.
  • Preference may be given to candidates who have experience with cold formed steel prefabrication or data center construction.

You day to day tasks may involve the following:

  • Work on typical WPI projects: exterior and interior framing, ceilings, load bearing strut. May require review but expected to work independently.
  • Communicate directly with internal and external team members, including those in the field. Attend project meetings with internal team and the project design team.
  • Prepare drawings for shop drawing submittals. Work with WPI BIM and drafting team.
  • Prepare calculation packages for submitting to project design team and local jurisdictions
  • Participate in bid reviews and estimating new projects
  • Act as liaison with relevant project professional staff, such as Architect of Record or Engineer of Record.
  • Monitor and inspect work in progress to verify systems are built per engineered drawings.
  • Support field operations. Such as translating structural drawings and specifications for the field team. Preparing drawings for site team use to make layouts easier. Creating engineered sketches to show to special inspectors. And many more. Site visits are rare but may be requested.
  • Progress your knowledge of cold formed steel or other engineering topics.

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
