  • Location: Portland, OR

  • Perform calculations for cold formed steel, steel, and wood building components
  • Prepare plans and details showing design intent
  • Ensure work is done in accordance with building codes
  • Coordinate plans and details with documents provided by other trades
  • Attend design meetings with architects, engineers, general contractors and sub-contractors
  • Develop a close working relationship with the project engineers, project managers, estimators, and BIM team

Special Projects Group: Project Manager/Estimator – Greater Seattle Area

  • Location: Sumner, WA
  • Full-time position
  • Benefits package
  • Responsible for estimating and quoting projects to maximize safety, quality, and profit.
  • Review client RFP’s, schedules, and project documentation to establish pricing with either a hard bid cost or a negotiated contract amount.
  • Develop relationships with clients to improve sales opportunities.
  • Use On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid estimating software to establish project costs.
  • Responsible for managing projects to maximize the safety, quality, and profits for the company.
  • Establish project budget and set targets for project profitability.
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, and project specifications.
  • Process RFI’s and price project changes accordingly.
  • Monthly review and projection of project financial position.
  • Analyze project costs and procure material, equipment, and tools as necessary.
