Each year, the Daily Journal of Commerce recognizes the most influential women shaping our industry at the DJC Women of Vision event. We’re proud to share that our very own Michelle Baer is among this year’s honorees.

This recognition celebrates women who are shaping the built environment through their technical expertise, leadership, mentorship, community involvement, and commitment to creating opportunities for future generations. Michelle embodies all of these qualities and more, and we’re extremely proud to have her as a member of our team.

Her recognition highlights the impact of her leadership and the future she’s helping shape at WPI, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her contributions. Congratulations, Michelle!

Angela’s House is the new home of Union Gospel Mission of Portland's LifeChange program for women and children, a place where people receive the support they need to rebuild during difficult times. The new facility allows UGM to triple its impact, with 52 resident rooms, an education center, a children’s activity center, a commercial kitchen, a counseling center, and a chapel.

We take pride in every project we build, but this one holds a special place in our hearts. We’re truly honored to help bring such a meaningful resource to our community.

This past Labor Day our team had a blast participating in Reno Laborfest, a celebration of working families across the nation. Visitors of all ages stopped by the WPI booth to try on safety equipment and learn a few things about the art of drywall texturing. A local TV crew even stopped by to check it out!
