WPI Corporate Hosts “Bring Your Kid to Work Day”

WPI’s corporate office in Wilsonville hosted its very first “Bring Your Kid to Work Day” this year. Over 20 office employees children participated in this years event. The kids first got the opportunity to tour the corporate office with their parents before sitting down for a presentation where they got to learn all about WPI. They learned a little about what types of buildings WPI builds, as well as all the different things WPI Tradespeople do. Then the WPI BIM Department followed up with a presentation on 3D Modeling and Virtual Design & Construction. Once all the kids got their fix of knowledge, they were released to the warehouse where they got the opportunity to test their skills with a drywall screw gun. Overall they displayed some pretty impressive work, and gave WPI assurance that the future of drywall is in good hands.
