WPI had another successful showing at this years Northwest Walls and Ceiling Industries Convention and Trade Show, bringing home three different outstanding project of the year awards.
The annual event put on by the NWCB was hosted at The Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The convention and trade show is an opportunity to recognize the regional walls and ceilings subcontractors for their outstanding projects completed throughout the year in both Oregon and Washington.
The outstanding projects are nominated under the categories of interior and exterior finishes, light gauge steel framing, suspended ceilings, and renovations/restorations. A total of 11 awards were presented on the night. WPI was one of only two contractors to receive multiple awards and the only to receive more than two. WPI Seattle’s Rick Mueller and Rick Brown accepted the award for University of Washington Denny Hall Renovation project for Washington Outstanding Renovation/Restoration Project of the Year. Project Manager Jeff Woody accepted the award Oregon Outstanding Light Gauge Steel Framing Project of the Year for his University of Portland Willamette Boulevard Student Housing project. Project Manager Aaron Shanks accepted the Oregon Outstanding Interior Commercial Project of the Year award for his project Daimler NOVA.
WPI is honored to be selected amongst such a vast pool of projects nominated this year. We would like to recognize all of our exceptional project leaders and talented craftsmen for whom we owe all the success in the completion of these projects to. Also, a special thanks to all of our trade partners and vendors whose support and hard work allowed us to provide quality work.
